There was a great turnout on the 14th May. I’d also like to thank Donna Cosentino (the Gallery Director) for hosting the reception and for doing such a great job in hanging all 34 photos in the show.
I always say that the most important thing about looking at a photograph is the stories that you can tell about it, not the story the photographer imagined. One couple I talked to told me of how a photograph I took in Manayunk, PA made them feel home-sick for Philly. I shared stories of walking through Paris with a woman who was born and raised there. Talking to these people made me notice things about some of my photographs that I had never seen before.
